Yesterday, at The Ocean Race Summit Newport, Clean Ocean Access Director of Sustainability Eva Touhey introduced COA’s Healthy Soils Healthy Seas Rhode Island multi-year initiative.
The program aims to inspire and empower the community, making transformative behavior changes to improve ocean health. Using the multifaceted behavior of composting as an integrative solution, Healthy Soils Healthy Seas tackles waste management, water quality, marine debris and overall ocean health for the state of Rhode Island.
