On Saturday, March 18, 144 volunteers gathered and removed 953 pounds of debris from the shoreline at Pheasant Drive Beach in Portsmouth!
Since 2014, Clean Ocean Access has hosted 16 cleanup events at Pheasant Drive Beach, and removed a total of 5,295 pounds of debris from this location with help from 340 volunteers.
COA’s Clean program is designed to educate, inspire and empower the community to solve the problem of marine debris. Our community works tirelessly to improve ocean health and these efforts will likely inspire others to take action so future generations can enjoy ocean activities.
