Water quality results from Thursday October 1^st in the middle of the rain event. EPA designates New England Beaches as “summer use” so all federal funding for water quality stops on Labor Day. Fortunately, people like you invest in our programs and volunteer your time so that we can continue to work with the Department of Health to bring year-round visibility to water quality issues. Together, we CAN eliminate the bacteria impacting our shorelines, as part of our OCEAN program and our ultimate goal for permanent year-round clean water.
