On June 25th an awesome team of dedicated volunteers collected 12 water samples in Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth, you can see the weekly results right here. Starting very soon we’ll be expanding the program looking into new areas to find the dry-weather bacteria sources, this will likely provide the insight we need to reduce beach closures, even with the new standards.
