A great meeting today with folks from URI, Salve, Aquidneck Land Trust and Town of Middletown working together to improve the health of our watersheds and reducing beach closures. A big chunk of this work is about data collection to understand the issue, working together to identify the causes, and then taking action to solve the problem. To bring about social change to make this stuff happens doesn’t requires an advanced degree in the subject, you can make a valuable and significant contribution by volunteering your time, donating to fund the organization, or contributing a key service (accounting, data entry, grant writing, book keeping).
